Summer Events

Social Sparks will be hosting 6 events this summer on Mondays in July and August. Please email info@socialsparksri.com to register if you are already a client. In the email, please state your child's name and the dates you would like to register.

If you are not a client, but interested in summer events, please click the "join us" button to access our summer event application. Events are $40/day for each participant and run from 9 am-12 pm. Thank you!

Bubblefest: Monday 7/11/22

Social Sparks will be extra bubbly for this event. Activities will include giant bubbles, bubble themed arts and crafts, bubble experiments and more!

Nature Day: Monday 7/18/22

This event will include creations like bird feeders and houses, arts and crafts projects made with supplies from nature like mini fairy gardens, outdoor mindful walks, scavenger hunts and more!

Betty the Mini Horse: Monday 7/25/22

Social Sparks is lucky enough to have Joanna and Betty join us again this year! Betty is a therapeutic mini-horse who loves meeting new friends. Joanna will talk about caring for Betty and answer questions about life with a mini-horse. Everyone has a chance to feed, brush, pet and have their picture taken with Betty. After our visit, we will have horse themed games and activities!

Performing Arts Day: Monday 8/1/22

A special guest, Matthew Bretschneider, will be joining Social Sparks' summer events this year! Matthew is an experienced actor and physical theatre teacher. He is a founding member of Studio Playground and teaches physical theatre for Trinity Repertory Company and the Gamm Theatre. He will be leading us in some fun and creative theatre activities during this event!

Sensory Day: Monday 8/15/22

Join us for all kinds of slime making, scented play doh, sensory bins, DIY lava lamps and many more activities to appeal to all the senses. Everyone will be able to bring home their personalized creations!

Water Games & Snow Cones: Monday 8/22/22

Social Sparks' final summer event will be a blast with outdoor water activities and games. You will need a change of clothes for this event! We will also be making custom snow cones with a variety of fun flavors!
